Sex on the Table

Now despite of what you may be thinking, Sex On the Table, is a Cooking School in NY & LA, taught by Chef “Fed” Federer.

"The art of seduction is the ability to get all your senses working in unison – feeling, touching, seeing, hearing, smelling, and tasting. We believe that the presentation of your food, the choice of ingredients, the texture of your creation, the way you combine flavors, where you dine, and how you eat are all vital to a seductive meal."

Specifically, I'll be attending the Aphrodisiac Cooking Class where we'll be combining unexpected flavors, textures and presentation (my fav!) So stay tuned for pics! =)

FLUME CONCERT

Looking forward to this upcoming concert at Terminal 5, FLUME on July 18th!!! A.K.A Harley Edward Streten[, this Australian is known for electronic and instrumental beats and has one of the few albums I've been able to listen from start to finish and actually LIKE every song. In today's world of music and one hit tracks, I say, "Bravo Flume!"

RUTGERS GARDENS

Although living in the city has its endless perks, I'm still a country girl at heart and love to reconnect with nature. Luckily, the surrounding areas of New York can cater to this quick fix, even if it's only for a day. So on a blazing Memorial Day (at least it seemed this way from the non-spring weather we've had), I ventured to Rutgers Gardens in New Brunswick, New Jersey. This beautiful space is free of charge and offers multitudes of relaxation from the gardens, to grassy knolls to trails within the forest. I could spend a whole weekend here at this urban escape;) 

LINCOLN CENTER

In all my years in NY, my only ventures to Lincoln Center have been for Fashion Week and the shows. This year, I decided to check a few things off my grand ol' Bucket List- with a 2-for-1 deal: A show at Lincoln Center...and seeing The Nutcracker in person. The show...spectacular. The space....breath-taking. 

WINDOW SHOPPING

It always amazes me- the meticulous detailing in which goes into creating the holiday windows of Bergdorf Goodman. Hours can be spent dissecting windows and getting lost in these fairy-tale worlds of Luxe and Design. 

PRINCETON UNIVERSITY

A quick escape from the city to New Jersey for Easter weekend, brought me to Princeton University, where I was able to take in the beautiful blossoms....and I think, "How great would it be to attend a university with a campus this breathtakingly designed."

BRAIN RIEGEL

A few week backs, on a trip to Columbus Ohio, I came across the work of Brian Riegel being showcased at the airport. His multi-media sculptures mash-up the likes of instruments, gears, videography, recreating beautiful and conversational pieces. The fine detailing in his etching is also quite spectacular, allowing for you to get lost in his sculptures.
